From Lost to Landed: How Taylor Secured a Dream Role in Just 4 Weeks

When Taylor joined our community, she was fresh off leaving a pretty stressful consulting job.

After eight years in consulting and finance, she’d given herself a ‘mini retirement’ to reset and recover from burnout.

But when it came time to re-enter the job market, she felt scattered and confused.

Despite an impressive background – tech degree, early experience at Fidelity Investments, and five years in consulting at Ernst & Young – she didn’t know how to translate her skills into a clear next step. 

After just four weeks inside The Purposeful Path Accelerator (PPA), she landed a Product Owner role at Sanofi. 

The role came to her. 

This is how she did it.

The Challenge: Stuck in Overthinking

Taylor Murphy had been spinning her wheels.

Networking here and there, reflecting endlessly, even using AI tools to try to find her purpose.

But nothing was turning into real momentum.

She didn’t know what she liked about her consulting experience.

Then, she also had to figure out how that experience lined up with a direct role in the marketplace.

Overthinking. Second-guessing. Questioning.

She didn’t just need reflection, she was doing that already.

Taylor needed structure, strategy, and support to connect her skillset to real opportunities.
 

The Shift: Clarity, Structure, and Community

Once inside PPA, Taylor leaned fully into the clarity process.

She reached out to the PPA community to learn about their experience in different roles – from Chief of Staff to Business Operations. 

Instead of relying on her financial services network, she started reaching out to new people, expanding into industries she hadn’t explored before.

But most importantly, she mapped out a long-term vision, broke it down into next steps, and started taking aligned action.

There was resistance and fear at first, natural when you’re looking to pivot.

Taylor embraced the discomfort and took action anyway.

After self-reflection, many conversations, and a shift in her mindset, Taylor opened up her awareness of what new possibilities were out there. 

And then, aligned opportunities started finding Taylor. 

She said, “I feel like the universe meets you halfway and is able to open doors for you.”

Where is Taylor now?

Just four weeks after joining PPA, Taylor had offers on the table, including one from her former employer. 

She accepted a Product Owner role at Sanofi, a global pharmaceutical company.

Her entire process from first conversation to signed contract was just one week.

Taylor knew what she wanted, and was finally being rewarded for claiming it.

Now, Taylor’s not only in a role that excites her.

She also has clarity, confidence, and a career direction that aligns with her vision for the future… aka she’s unstoppable!
